El Barco started with a simple idea: bring real Mexican soul food to Martha’s Vineyard. Hand-pressed tortillas, slow-braised meats, fresh-squeezed margaritas, and a patio where the only reservation you need is showing up.

We’re part of the Lyons Group family — a hospitality group rooted in Boston that knows how to run a restaurant without taking itself too seriously. On the Vineyard, that means cold margaritas, warm hospitality, and food that’s made with care but served without ceremony.
Our kitchen runs on fresh ingredients and honest technique. Every salsa is made that morning. Every tortilla is pressed by hand. The fish comes off the boat and goes straight to the grill. It’s simple, it’s generous, and it’s exactly what a summer evening calls for.
